Temple of Anahita in Kermanshah-Iran Anahita was originally a “Zoroastrian” name. She was one of the outstanding “Persian Deities”. Archaeologists believe that the Anahita Temple was built more than 2,000 years.

Kermanshah is one of the biggest “Kurdish” cities in the western part of Iran. Azadi Tower “Freedom Tower” built in 1971 in commemoration of the "2,500th anniversary of the Persian Empire", is one of the symbols of Tehran City, and marks the west entrance to the city.

Herbal Medicine - "Avicenna – 980-1037 CE" “Ibn-Sīnā”, was a Persian polymath who has been described as the "Father of Early Modern Medicine". One of his most famous works is “The Canon of Medicine”, an overview of all aspects of medicine that became a standard medical text at many medieval universities.

Sizdah Bedar “シズダ ベダー” Nature Day was considered “The Blessed Day” of the month Farvardin “the 1st month of the year” from ancient Persian calendar.
It marked the first day of agricultural activity of Ancient Persians. In this day Iranians go to have fun with their families all the day long. The essence of the Sizdah Bedar ceremonies is the enthusiasm to set up a family, lead a happy life and form friendship. |
Mount Pardis in Bushehr Province is the nearest distance between the Earth and the Sun, according to "Badie Dashti", a UK-based researcher and archeologist. It is comprised of a highly magnetic rock and the magnifying zone covers about 50 - 100 meters around the mountain, which can pull parked cars within the zone toward itself.
The "Herbs" growing there is said to have various medical benefits. There are also a unique variety of "Dates" that grow in this area and are used for making special diet sugar & pills to combat diabetes. |
